Reason: Steadfast prophet; warned his people for years; saved with his family (except his wife) when the cities were destroyed

Story — English

Nephew of Ibrahim, sent as prophet to the cities known for their sexual transgression (homosexual practice as a public norm, robbery, and rejection of guests). His people openly rejected his call, threatened to expel him, and even came to his house seeking his angel guests. He was distressed, having only his daughters to shield against them. The angels revealed they were sent to destroy the city. Lut and his believing daughters were told to leave at night without looking back. His wife looked back and was destroyed with the people. The cities were turned upside down and stones of clay rained upon them.

کہانی — اردو

ابراہیم کے بھتیجے، گناہ کی قوم کی طرف بھیجے گئے۔ قوم نے مہمانوں (فرشتوں) سے بدکاری کا ارادہ کیا۔ لوط پریشان ہوئے۔ فرشتوں نے بتایا کہ ہم قوم کو تباہ کرنے آئے ہیں۔ رات کو نکل جاؤ، پیچھے نہ دیکھو۔ بیوی نے دیکھا، ہلاک ہوئی۔ شہر الٹے گئے، پتھروں کی بارش ہوئی۔
