أَمۡ لَهُمۡ ءَالِهَةٞ تَمۡنَعُهُم مِّن دُونِنَاۚ لَا يَسۡتَطِيعُونَ نَصۡرَ أَنفُسِهِمۡ وَلَا هُم مِّنَّا يُصۡحَبُونَ
Urdu (Syed Abul A’la Maududi)
کیا یہ کچھ ایسے خدا رکھتے ہیں جو ہمارے مقابلے میں ان کی حمایت کریں؟ وہ نہ تو خود اپنی مدد کر سکتے ہیں اور نہ ہماری ہی تائید اُن کو حاصل ہے
English (Sahih International)
Or do they have gods to defend them other than Us? They are unable [even] to help themselves, nor can they be protected from Us
Tafsir — Bayan ul Quran (Dr. Israr Ahmad)
لَا یَسْتَطِیْعُوْنَ نَصْرَ اَنْفُسِہِمْ وَلَا ہُمْ مِّنَّا یُصْحَبُوْنَ ”یعنی ہمارے مقابلے میں ان کے خودساختہ معبودوں کی دوستی ان کے کسی کام نہیں آسکتی۔
