وَٱلۡمُؤۡتَفِكَةَ أَهۡوَىٰ

اور اوندھی گرنے والی بستیوں کو اٹھا پھینکا

And the overturned towns He hurled down
Tafsir — Bayan ul Quran (Dr. Israr Ahmad)
آیت 53{ وَالْمُؤْتَفِکَۃَ اَہْوٰی۔ } ”اور اُسی نے الٹی ہوئی بستیوں کو پٹخ دیا۔“ اس سے سدوم اور عامورہ یعنی حضرت لوط علیہ السلام کی قوم کی بستیاں مراد ہیں۔
