أَفَلَا يَرَوۡنَ أَلَّا يَرۡجِعُ إِلَيۡهِمۡ قَوۡلٗا وَلَا يَمۡلِكُ لَهُمۡ ضَرّٗا وَلَا نَفۡعٗا
Urdu (Syed Abul A’la Maududi)
کیا وہ نہ دیکھتے تھے کہ نہ وہ اُن کی بات کا جواب دیتا ہے اور نہ ان کے نفع و نقصان کا کچھ اختیار رکھتا ہے؟
English (Sahih International)
Did they not see that it could not return to them any speech and that it did not possess for them any harm or benefit

آیت 89 اَفَلَا یَرَوْنَ اَلَّا یَرْجِعُ اِلَیْہِمْ قَوْلاً لا ”کیا انہیں نظر نہیں آتا تھا کہ وہ بچھڑا ان کی کسی بات کو جواب نہیں دے سکتا تھا۔ اس میں سے تو ایک بےمعنی بھاں بھاں کی آواز نکلتی تھی اور بس !
