Reason: Hamstrung the she-camel of Allah despite warning; destroyed by a blast three days after the warning
Story — English
A people who carved homes in the mountains. Given the she-camel as a miracle and test. One man (the most wretched among them — 91:12) hamstrung her, though the Quran assigns collective responsibility to them all. They were warned of three days. On the third day the blast came. The Quran references them frequently as a clear sign for those who pass their area (27:52). Surah Ash-Shams (91) devotes its climax to their story.

پہاڑ تراشنے والی قوم۔ اونٹنی کا معجزہ دیا — سب سے بدبخت نے کونچیں کاٹیں۔ تین دن بعد چنگھاڑ۔ ‘اپنے رب کی نافرمانی کی تو انہیں ہلاک کر دیا’ (91:14)۔
