وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَٰذَا ٱلۡوَعۡدُ إِن كُنتُمۡ صَٰدِقِينَ
Urdu (Syed Abul A’la Maududi)
وہ کہتے ہیں کہ “یہ دھمکی کب پُوری ہو گی اگر تم سچے ہو؟

And they say, “When is [the fulfillment of] this promise, if you should be truthful

آیت 71 وَیَقُوْلُوْنَ مَتٰی ہٰذَا الْوَعْدُ اِنْ کُنْتُمْ صٰدِقِیْنَ ”یعنی آپ ہمیں مسلسل دھمکیاں دیے جا رہے ہیں کہ اگر ہم آپ کی اطاعت نہیں کریں گے تو ہم پر عذاب آجائے گا۔ چناچہ اگر آپ اپنے اس دعوے میں سچے ہیں تو ذرا یہ بھی بتادیں کہ وہ عذاب کب آئے گا ؟
