وَمَا كَانَ رَبُّكَ لِيُهۡلِكَ ٱلۡقُرَىٰ بِظُلۡمٖ وَأَهۡلُهَا مُصۡلِحُونَ
Urdu (Syed Abul A’la Maududi)
تیرا رب ایسا نہیں ہے کہ بستیوں کو ناحق تباہ کر دے حالانکہ ان کے باشندے اصلاح کرنے والے ہوں
English (Sahih International)
And your Lord would not have destroyed the cities unjustly while their people were reformers

آیت 117 وَمَا كَانَ رَبُّكَ لِـيُهْلِكَ الْقُرٰي بِظُلْمٍ وَّاَهْلُهَا مُصْلِحُوْنَ ایسا نہیں ہوتا کہ کسی علاقے کسی ملک یا شہر میں اچھے کردار کے حامل اپنی اور دوسروں کی اصلاح میں سرگرم لوگوں کی اکثریت ہو اور اللہ پھر بھی اس بستی پر عذاب بھیج دے۔
