Story — English
The king of the time of Ibrahim who claimed to be a god. The Quran records his debate with Ibrahim (2:258): Ibrahim said his Lord gives life and causes death; Nimrod said ‘I give life and death’ (by releasing and executing prisoners). Ibrahim then said ‘Allah brings the sun from the East — bring it from the West.’ Nimrod was confounded. He ordered Ibrahim burned — the fire became cool. According to tradition, he eventually died killed by a mosquito that entered his nostril — the mightiest king, destroyed by the most insignificant creature.

ابراہیم کے زمانے کا بادشاہ جو خدائی کا دعویٰ کرتا تھا۔ ابراہیم سے بحث کی (2:258)۔ آگ میں جلانے کا حکم دیا لیکن آگ ٹھنڈی ہو گئی۔ روایت کے مطابق مچھر سے مرا۔
