Story — English
Queen of Yemen (Sheba) and her people worshipped the sun. The Hudhud reported her kingdom to Sulayman. He sent a letter: ‘It is from Sulayman, and it is in the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful — do not be arrogant with me and come to me in submission.’ She consulted her council, tested Sulayman with gifts (he refused), then came herself. Her throne was transported to Sulayman before she arrived. When she saw it, she recognized divine power. She was then brought into a palace of glass — thinking it was water, she lifted her dress; Sulayman revealed it was smooth glass. She said: ‘My Lord, indeed I have wronged myself, and I submit with Sulayman to Allah, Lord of the worlds’ (27:44). A queen chose Islam.

یمن کی ملکہ جو سورج کی پوجا کرتی تھیں۔ سلیمان کا خط آیا۔ سفارت کاری سے کام لیا۔ خود آئیں۔ محل کے شیشے کے فرش کو پانی سمجھ کر دامن اٹھایا۔ سلیمان نے بتایا — حقیقت کا ادراک ہوا۔ فوراً کہا: ‘اے رب! میں نے اپنے آپ پر ظلم کیا، اللہ کے آگے سر تسلیم خم کرتی ہوں’ (27:44)۔
