As-Salam is the source and embodiment of all peace — He Himself is free from every deficiency, and He is the giver of peace to His creation. The greeting of the people of Jannah will be ‘Salam’ (14:23), and Jannah itself is called Dar as-Salam — the Abode of Peace.

السلام وہ ہے جو خود سلامتی کا سرچشمہ ہے۔ جنت کو ‘دارالسلام’ اسی لیے کہا گیا کہ وہاں حقیقی سکون ہوگا۔
